MySQL 5 DATABASE
This is an easy step-by-step guide for creating a MySQL 5 Database & User.
To access your hosting control panel, please visit http://host.redcactus.co.za from any internet browser, and sign in using your correct username and password.
- Once logged in, scroll to the top toolbar, Select (1) Hosting Space Menu, (2) Select Databases and (3) Select MySQL 5.X.
2. Now, on the next page under the MySQL 5 Database heading select (1) Create Database.
3. Under The SQL Database Properties Heading, (1) Type in your preferred Database Name and (2) Select Save.
4. When you scroll down, under the MySQL 5 Users heading, select (1) Create User.
5. Type in your (1) preferred Database username, (2) your password and follow up with the confirm password. NOTE: THE DATABASE CREATED SHOULD BE TICKED, FOR THE DATABASE AND THE USER SHOULD BE LINKED. (3) Tick the database to be used. Select Save.
Your Database And User Has Successfully Been Created.
